Today we learned more about our brain. We focussed on our "security guard", AKA the AMYGDALA! We chose a figure to represent our amygdala and stuck it in our brain to help us remember the value of the amygdala and how we can keep it calm and steady. (Breathe, think positive thoughts, replace "I can't with I can't yet but I will soon", tighten and relax your muscles, or go to Room 10 for a tool or time to calm). When you walk by Room 10, check out our security guards!
