Our bunny Shadow is really enjoying Prince of Wales. Lots of kids come to visit Shadow. He has tried jumping into garbage cans. He has been very good lately. The bunny is now 12 weeks old. Today he did his daily laps around the table. He has been enjoying the occasional treat from people's snacks and lunches. He has been very energetic. Remember if you take Shadow home for a visit, he needs lots of time to run, play and explore out of his cage. Be very aware of cords and electricity. We need summer holiday volunteers. We think one week visits over the summer would be perfect. Contact Room 10 if you want a summer guest.

Everyone gets angry. How you show your MAD can help the situation or hurt true situation. How does your family show MAD? Check out the Mad family. WE HAVE A NEW BUNNY AT POW SCHOOL! He is black and his name is Shadow. Thank you to everyone that donated funds to buy the bunny and bunny supplies. We raised over 450 dollars. We are so grateful for the cage and supplies that were donated for our bunny project. We bought a REX bunny because they are the friendliest breed and they enjoy being handled. He is so soft. He is one of the cutest bunnies in the world. He is nine weeks old. He is very delicate. He has tiny little bones. He needs to be handled very gently and with extreme care. The bunny is calm and happy. He is this way because we follow certain rules. 1. Let the bunny come to you don't try to grab him. 2. If he looks nervous or his heart is beating fast we give him space. 3. We use soft voices. 4. We let him have his own space for the first few days. 5. We move slowly and carefully when the bunny is loose. 6. We make sure he always has food and water. 7. We watch him around cords and plastic and watch for potential hazards. 8. Always support his legs. 9. Always place him gently on the floor, do not let him jump or drop him down.If you want to take the bunny home just fill out the form that was emailed out to every family and return it to Room 10.
"I can choose to be happy. I am a good person."
We all experience the positive and the negative. We all have good times and bad. We can acknowledge and accept negative thoughts, feelings and actions. We can then address the anxiety or worry these thoughts provoke, by breathing, giving ourselves positive messages and by figuring out what tools might work best to help us focus on the right now. Be where your feet are. |
