Today in power hour we talked about the power of sharing when playing with others. It can be enlightening and powerful to see how another person uses a toy, game or piece of equipment. When you decide to share a special game or toy with another, you may find people sharing a cool item with you when you least expect it.

Braineater gets people to stop thinking about the group plan. Braineater uses speech bubbles during thought bubble times and blurts out his own ideas in the middle of the group conversation. Braineater asks about recess, restrooms, water breaks, homework assignments, home issues, choice time and personal topics when she is meant to be sharing ideas connected to the group plan. Some Room 10 friends have been learning about Rockbrain. Some kiddos are learning to have EMPATHY when others are having ROCKBRAIN moments. While others are learning to recognize when ROCKBRAIN may be sneaking into their thoughts and creating very unexpected behavior. This might look like yelling, arguing, complaining, whining, stomping, slamming, ripping, tearing and of course, tantrums. I make people get stuck on their own ideas!!! Room 10 needs your help!
Rockbrain has kicked down the bunny gates so many times that they are now ineffective and broken. Room 10 needs a new solution. We need to keep the doors to Room 10 open to best help our students. We need to keep Shadow inside Room 10 to best care for our school bunny. Room 10 challenges our POW community to solve BUNNYGATE! If you can create a gate to keep bunny in and keep entering and leaving Room 10 safe, you win the challenge.Prize: You and three friends will enjoy lunch with the bunny! If a community member designs and provides a bunny gate, they can also have lunch with the bunny(or a starbucks card). Good Luck!!
