Mean bugs can be like cold and flu bugs.People can spread the mean bugs around until other people feel the MEAN! It is important to remember that sharing your mean bug will not get the means out of you. Sometimes it feels like if we are grumpy and mean to others when we feel bad, then our mean bugs will disappear. Unfortunately your mean bug will still be inside of you and now others have got the "means" too. Now you may feel bad and kinda sad on top of it because you spread your mean bug around. When you feel BAD, try to squash that mean bug with mindfulness tools. Go into your hippocampus and pull out some happy memories, take deep calming breaths, use positive self talk, try a mirror meditation(life loves me) or do a pleasant activity such as coloring.
