In Room 10 we learn to identify our feelings without blame or shame. We all have all feelings. All of our feelings serve a purpose. At school, being calm, in control of our feelings, and being ready to work in a group setting, are expected behaviors. We can use mindful practices to identify when we are having strong emotions, and then allow ourselves to release the strong emotion and carry on with the group plan. When we can release strong emotions with a mindful practice, people feel safe and comfortable. When people feel safe and comfortable around us, they are usually friendly and safe toward us. Watch this clip and then decide...which wolf do you want to feed?
