Sensory Survey
Close your eyes and run through your senses noticing one smell, one taste, one sound and one sensation. Open your eyes and notice something beautiful.
Our Mindful Body Group had its last session and we are looking forward to bringing our bodies home! Next week each student will walk through their bodies with me and will demonstrate their understanding of the body, mindful regulation and healthy lifestyle choices. Together we will assess their project . The students will have the option to present their learning to their class and/or their families. Please stop by at interview time and collect the projects as the student are hoping to get those bodies home intact.
Students will be expected to directly address the: brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, stomach, intestines, bladder, pancreas, gallbladder, spleen, muscles and skin. Students will be expected to state four ways to regulate the body and reduce stress through mindful activities. Finally students will state four ways to maintain a healthy body. Dr. Slim Goodbody and kids health.org are great places to refresh the memory, before our interviews next week.
