Empathy is the next generations "must have" talent. Embrace your opportunities to practice empathy rather than avoiding them. This trait will be your most valuable tool for a healthy, happy, creative future. When you see a person struggling with regulation, learning, sharing, negotiating expected behavior, solving problems or fitting in, you can practice being grateful that you do not have this particular challenge... and then...practice empathy by connecting to an area that you have struggled in and send the person a stealth message of care. Secretly send a positive thought towards the person you empathize with. " I hope your day gets better. I send you a caring message that you are a good person. Life loves you." Your day will improve and that person may feel a breeze of care flow over them. It is going to be more effective than judging, complaining and worrying about the unexpected behavior.
